iPad 2 goes on sale in Ireland & UK this Friday

Thinking of getting a new iPad 2? Well Friday is the day and Apple have confirmed pricing.
The prices of the new iPad 2 models in Ireland are:
iPad 2 with WiFi
€479.00 inc VAT (€395.87 ex VAT) for the 16GB model
€579.00 inc VAT (€478.51 ex VAT) for the 32GB model
€679.00 inc VAT (€561.16 ex VAT) for the 64GB model
iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G

The iPad 2 will be available at Apple Authorised Resellers at 5 p.m. this Friday, and online through the Apple Store beginning at 1 a.m. If you do plan to buy online, set those alarms for Friday morning- or stay up on Thurs night! Given the shipping times in the US, it is likely that even those who order at the start can expect delays.
If you plan to pick one up on the first night, Compu b will be selling iPads at their Irish stores from 5pm. The stores will close at 4pm to prepare for the launch, and will be open from 5 to 9pm on the night. They have stores on Grafton Street in Dublin, and in Cork and Limerick. Our advice is that if you plan to head in, get there early! They are also running an offer with mobile provider O2 to offer microsims with €20 free credit built in.
