Introduction:
The Mac mini is Apple's budget computer. It comes without a keyboard, display or mouse but comes at the lowest price for a Mac in Apple's history. It is intended as a computer for people who already have peripherals and simply wish to by a cheap Mac. However the spec is still good- an Intel processor and the usual ports in a compact case design:
- USB 2.0 (for printers, cameras, scanners etc.).
• Thunderbolt and FireWire 800 ports (for hard drives etc.) - SDXC socket (for camera cards)
• Headphone socket
• Ethernet (for high speed networks).
• HDMI socket to connect display or a TV.
• Airport wireless networking and Bluetooth built-in - NOTE- the Mac mini does not have a Superdrive (for CD or DVDs)
