The iPod touch was introduced on 5th September 2007 and the latest version arrived in September 2010. The iPod touch is designed around the Apple iPhone, and is essentially a cut down iPhone, without the phone functions, but including the iPod, Mail, Maps, Safari, App Store and iTunes Music store features. It is also thinner than the iPhone.
Users looking for more storage will still opt for the iPod classic, but the iPod touch has the advantages of wireless internet a bigger screen for watching video or browsing photos and it a great gaming device, with games available for download from the App Store.
