Apple TV

Apple TV was announced in 2006 and launched in 2007. It connects to widescreen TVs, and streams video and audio from Macs/PCs. This means you can view your iTunes and other audio/video content on your TV.
Apple TV links to your Mac and displays your iPhoto, iTunes and other media on your TV. This can be done across your wireless (WiFi) network.
The latest generation of Apple TV was launched in 2012 with a new streaming only design (no internal storage).
You can also subscribe to Netflix on your Apple TV which is a great way to access thousands of films and TV shows.
